Dear friends, The Circle was founded in May 1989 by USF graduates who decided to stay in touch after finishing their education in San Francisco. The "Pub" at Geary and Masonic streets in the City by the Bay was the location of this memorable event. Lead by co-founder and president Jos Piron for ten years, the Circle members achieved to meet once a year to party and to catch up on the most recent developments of its members. After ten years Jos passed this important task to Petter Danielsen who carried on for the next three years. Now, more than a decade later since its foundation the Circle is still going strong. After yearly reunions in Antwerp, Madrid, Oslo, Vienna, San Francisco, Paris, Montreux, London, Pamplona, Baden-Baden, Milan, Maastricht, Stockholm, Athens and Budapest we will meet in Marseille (France) in 2005. We have been asked many times about the purpose and the mission of the Circle. There is none. We want to stay in touch, party once a year, and be left alone by any form of organizational stress. With our informal and friendly relationship we have achieved business and job contacts for each other and above all: Great and memorable meetings in different locations around the world.
